Kirby Vaughn is an accomplished healthcare analytics leader with more than 15 years of experience in pharmacy benefits management, data strategy, and cost optimization consulting. As Director of Analytics, Kirby oversees high impact analytical initiatives that drive smarter decision making, strengthen pharmacy benefit programs, and deliver measurable savings for clients.

Kirby’s expertise spans PBM contracting, formulary and network optimization, predictive modeling, and regulatory compliance. He is known for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that help employers, health plans, and consultants improve outcomes and reduce unnecessary spend.

Throughout his career, Kirby has led high performing analytics teams, negotiated multimillion dollar PBM and pharmacy contracts, and guided clients through intricate audits and benefit evaluations. His background includes senior roles in reporting, claims analysis, and healthcare operations, as well as early career experience in software development and database engineering—giving him a rare blend of technical depth and industry knowledge.

Kirby holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Bellevue University, a Bachelor of Arts in Multi Disciplinary Studies from the University of Nebraska–Omaha, and an Associate Degree in Management Information Systems from Metropolitan Community College. He is also ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC).
