Brandon Newman is President of ARMSRx, bringing over 30 years of experience in pharmacy benefits, managed care, and healthcare technology to the role. Brandon is leading ARMSRx’s next phase of growth, including the development of a new technology platform built to give clients faster, sharper visibility into their pharmacy spend and stronger leverage to drive down net cost.

Eliminating waste from the pharmacy benefits system has been the throughline of Brandon’s career. Wherever he’s sat — inside a PBM, advising one, or building technology to hold PBMs accountable — the question has stayed the same: where is money leaking out of the system, and how do you close that gap for the people paying the bill. That focus has taken him to every side of the industry: inside PBM organizations, where he held senior leadership roles managing more than $1 billion in pharmacy spend; as a consultant and advisor to PBMs and health plans; and as an entrepreneur building technology used to audit and hold PBMs accountable. That range gives him a rare, ground-level understanding of how PBM pricing, rebates, and contracts actually work — and where the real savings opportunities are hiding for the employers, health plans, and organizations ARMSRx serves.

Earlier in his career, Brandon founded ScripPoint and later founded Xevant, a pharmacy analytics company he built from the ground up over roughly a decade — coining the term “RxTech” to describe technology purpose-built for pharmacy cost containment, and establishing himself as one of the industry’s leading voices on how data and automation can drive down pharmacy costs.

Brandon’s work has been recognized with EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist honors (2023 and 2024), Utah Business CEO of the Year, an Inc. 5000 listing, and Titan 100 Executive recognition (2026).

Brandon lives in Utah with his wife, Misty, and their five children.
